In addition to practicing law, Houston enjoys film and digital photography. Some of his work in on permanent display in the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants in Buckhead.

Mr. Smith is married to Monica Smith, a dentist in Cumming, Georgia. They reside in Morningside.
